Brian T Ahern and his wife Donna J. Cook have fished the waters of Montana and Wyoming.
He caught his first trout at age 5 (photo at left) and a lot more was hooked that
day than just the fish. Mr. Ahern built his first fly rod in 1971 and taught rod-building
classes while an instructor at Kicking Horse Job Corps in Ronan, Montana. Mr. Ahern
has taught family members and friends the art of fly-fishing and rod building. Donna
and Brian are both artistic individuals. He has, in the past produced western and
wildlife bronze sculpturing. Their favorite piece depicts a Fly- Fisherman netting
a trout. He is also an accomplished Gold and Silversmith.
